Yes. It's bright enough to light up a room, and you can turn the brightness down in the app for a softer glow. It's ambient, decorative light, not a reading lamp.
Yes. Meditative mode runs slow, calm patterns in colors you pick in the app, and you can dim it for the evening. A long press of the button on the control box turns it off.
No. A single press of the button on the control box changes the pattern, a double press changes the mode, and a long press turns the lights off. The Hyperspace app (2.4 GHz Wi-Fi) adds full control of patterns, modes and colors.
With USB-C. The light connects to its control box, and the control box plugs into the included USB-C power supply.
